The American Film Market (AFM) is recognized as one of the world’s most important film licensing and distribution marketplaces. Held annually, AFM brings together professionals from across the global film industry. Each year, the event welcomes over 8,500 visitors from more than 80 countries, including over 300 exhibitors representing countries such as the United States, Italy, France, the United Kingdom, South Korea, and many more. Additionally, more than 30 film commissions and promotional agencies from various nations also participate.
In 2025, AFM is scheduled to take place from November 11–16 in Los Angeles, marking a return to the city after being hosted in Las Vegas in 2024. The event will feature a wide array of activities designed to support and develop the global film industry, including business matching sessions, film screenings, educational seminars, and networking receptions. These activities aim to foster connections among key stakeholders and influential figures in the film world, creating valuable opportunities for collaboration and international business development.
